Day 167 / June 6, 2024

Today was a very good morning! Everett finished his 5th grade math curriculum and I let him rip up the workbook which was very therapeutic for him. 🥴

We are on day 6 of driving the Alaska Highway and still have about 500 miles to go. At this point in our journey, a gas station candy bar was very therapeutic for me. 😜
The road condition has definitely started to go downhill in sections.
These views of the Kluane Mountains were amazing.
Pine Lake is a popular territorial campground, but we had a reservation for tonight so I wasn’t worried about getting a first come, first served spot. Sometimes they fill up by 11 am and that is not how we roll!
Our site was not exactly level or made for a big rig…
But it was nothing a little creative blocking couldn’t fix.

A safe, beautiful boondocking spot for $18 a night – we’ll take it!
