Day 152 / May 22, 2024

Now that we’ve dipped our toes into all things Canadian: exchanged some money, practiced converting every possible measurement to the metric system and hit up a local grocery store (not a mecca for fresh produce believe it or not 🙃) – we’re ready to go see some of this gorgeous country!

Not much to look at during the drive today. 😍
We found the Continental Divide! Water on Elleny’s side flows to the Atlantic Ocean and water on Everett’s side flows to the Pacific Ocean.
Elleny noticed right away that the flag on the left had the British flag so it must be British Columbia’s flag and therefore the one on the right must Alberta’s flag. 🇨🇦
We might be checking the provinces off at a slower rate than the states. These puppies are big!
We pulled into our campsite at Tunnel Mountain in Banff and the welcome wagon was out to say hi. 👋
The campground is surrounded by mountains and elk are roaming around…NBD. 😵
Riggs, as you can imagine, was quite excited by the new neighbors. 🦌
