Today is Riggs’ birthday! It’s hard to believe that he’s been a part of our family for 4 years already.

Everett made Riggs the sweetest card and even tried to use dog friendly colors so he could see it.
We let him sit at the table to pose for a picture, but he still had to eat his breakfast outside. Sorry buddy, I’m not that fun! 😣
After the birthday celebration it was time to hit the road for a hefty day of driving.
We are officially starting phase 2 of our trip: out west. We’re off to visit places in western Texas, Arizona and Utah. But first we have to get there and it’s a loooong way…
The wildflowers along the highway sure are pretty at least!
The birthday dog snuggled his new raccoon squeaky toy for the entire drive. What a good boy. 🥹
