Day 182 / June 21, 2024

We moved down the road just a few miles to the tiny town of Willow. There is not much here but occasionally we need a few days to catch up on life and work before moving on to the next adventure.

The campground owner, who was a huge dog lover, told us that Riggs could run off leash wherever he wanted around the campground. Riggs really was living his best Alaskan life in the Mat-Su-Valley!
Adler, who recently found some new books to read, was also living his best life.
I mean, does your neighborhood grocery store have awesome decor like this?! 🫎
We were completely out of flour but with these prices, I’ll just wait until we get to a bigger city. 💰
The afternoon was spent planning, researching and creating a video presentation for our friend Trever.
We adopted a manatee in his name and the kids ran with the idea to create a video. 🎬

Friday nights are for wood fired pizza from the Flying Squirrel Bakery & Cafe. 🍕
Our last look at Denali was a cloudy one – we know that she’s back there somewhere! ☁️
